· July 4, 2008 begins at 3:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

· Brought to you by the Palm Bay Parks and Recreation Department and The Palm Bay Utilities Department. This event combines the Utilities’ annual WaterFest event (to promote water conservation and the awareness of the benefits of water) and the City’s FreedomFest Events (annual 4th of July event).
· There will be water slides, bounce houses, face painting, great food, craft vendors, live entertainment, patriotic bicycle parade, relay games, etc. Children are encouraged to wear their bathing suits so they can enjoy the water slides; everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets, mosquito repellent, and sunscreen.
· Children wishing to participate in the Patriotic Bicycle Parade should bring their bicycles decorated for July 4th. The parade will take place at 7 p.m.

- No Coolers
- No Alcohol
- No Fireworks (includes Sparklers)
- No Firearms
- No Pets
- Contracted Vending only

Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

1 winner each group announced)
- 4:15 pm – Lauren Cosentino, 2007 Palm Bay Idol performs (debut with her band, Crossroad)
- 5:15 pm – 2008 Pee Wee Idol Winner performs
- 5:30 pm- Jim Van Fleet & The Reign performs
- 7:00 pm – Patriotic Bicycle Parade (front of main stage while bands switch out sets)
- 7:30 pm – 2008 Palm Bay Idol Winner Performs
- 7:45 pm – Heartland performs
- 9:15 pm – Presentation of colors, National Anthem (2007 Pee Wee Idol and Fireworks)
